

Fabio Rabbani
Regional Director, South American Office, ICAO
Currently leading the Office responsible for building capacity of the South American Countries to comply with the International Civil Aviation Organization“s provisions and to develop their aviation system as means for their socioeconomic progress.
He served as Head of the Airport Infrastructure Department at the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and as Chief Advisor to the Board of Directors. Previously, he was the Airport Management Director at the Secretariat of Civil Aviation of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil. He also has held the position of Facilitation Technical Manager at ANAC and also served as Manager in the Ministry of Defense“s Civil Aviation Bureau.
He has also performed in leadership positions to develop and promote integrated transportation planning and road safety projects in Brazil.
Mr. Rabbani holds a MSc. degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Civil Engineering Degree of the Federal University of Paraiba.
