Paule Assoumou Koki

Director General, Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority

Madam KOKI has been the Director General in December 2015. She is a civil aviation
engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the aviation system.

She began her career in Cameroon in 1989 within the Directorate of Civil Aviation. In 1994, Madam KOKI joined ASECNA, the air navigation services provider in Cameroon, were she occupied the position of Head of the air navigation department for two years.

Between 1996 and 2008, she worked with the United Nations in various locations and capacities. She returned to Cameroon and contributed to establish the first approved training school in Cameroon in her capacity of Head of training.

In 2012, Madam KOKI joined the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority as Director of aviation safety and was later designated OPS inspector. For four years, she coordinated all safety oversight related activities in the aviation industry in Cameroon.

Passionate about training and capacity building in aviation, she created the Cameroon CAA training School in 2016 which has been certified by ICAO as an Aviation Security Training Centre (ASTC) and is currently an associated TRAINAIR PLUS Member.
