

Reinaldo Daniel Fioravanti
Group Head and Lead Transport Specialist, Infrastructure Department, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
Born in Brazil, Reinaldo is Group Head and Lead Transport Specialist in the Infrastructure Department at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), based in Washington, DC.
At the IDB, he leads the financing of large infrastructure projects in the transportation sector and since 2015 has been leading the aviation initiative, expanding considerable the work of IDB in areas such public policy, technical assistance and financing.
Before joining the Bank, he worked as a supply chain manager at Hewlett Packard, leading projects in Latin America and Asia, and as an associate researcher at the University of Campinas.
Reinaldo holds master's degrees in Public Policy from Harvard University and in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology / ZLC (Spain); and a PhD in Transportation Engineering from the University of Campinas, Brazil.
